Morning all!

Finally...some sunshine and a high of 5 degrees!!! Of course..there's some rain in the forecast later today...and the forecast for later in the week...snow. Hopefully that all changes....

March break boredom set in at my house at about 2:30 yesterday afternoon...so we have made some plans for our son for the next couple of days to keep him busy! I couldn't believe he was so bored already..day one of the break. We put him to work..bathing and helping groom our dogs. That took up about an hour of his time. There are a lot of options out there...we need to use as many as we can to keep him busy!

Some of the things we talked about on today's show:

Jon Bon Jovi blames Steve Jobs (co-founder of Apple, and creator of Itunes) for "killing" the music industry with iTunes.
He says he's "saddened" that kids no longer get the "magical" experience of buying records since they have been replaced with digital music.
Bon Jovi has no regret in laying the blame directly to Steve Jobs. Jon told The Sunday Times Magazine, "Kids today have missed the whole experience of putting the headphones on, turning it up to 10, holding the jacket, closing their eyes and getting lost in an album; and the beauty of taking your allowance money and making a decision based on the jacket, not knowing what the record sounded like, and looking at a couple of still pictures and imagining it."
He continues,"God, it was a magical, magical time. I hate to sound like an old man now, but I am, and you mark my words, in a generation from now people are going to say: 'What happened?'. Steve Jobs is personally responsible for killing the music business."

Gas prices have been hovering around the 1.33 / litre mark
You probably know that having enough air in your tires is important - because it can improve your gas mileage - by about 3%. BUT - here are more sneaky ways to save money on gas!

Don't drive aggressively:
90 to 95 km's / an hour on the highway is the most fuel-efficient speed for most vehicles. Speeding will cost you more

Try to hit the pump mid-week:
Gas prices tend to rise slightly on Thursdays; then drop back down on Tuesday or Wednesday

Buy gas at night or early in the morning:
Gas is stored underground....and its denser when the ground is cold. So, you actually get slightly more gas for your money if you pump before the sun comes up.

Have a great Tuesday!!
