Yes, it's Monday again. Who wants to return to work? For that matter, who wants to go outside to get to the vehicle that gets us to work? So cold.

I am working on when the newest member of our family will arrive....she is an eight month old Bassett Hound. We were told someone was looking for a new home for her..so we said of course...our next thought was "what will we name her?". We thought of many names...Because we already have our Jack Russell Terrier, Elvis...we thought..what about Aaron, Graceland, Presley, Tupelo or even Priscilla? We then determined that the dog likely has a name..and we should stick to that. We received a call last night...with more information about our new pup...her name....Presley. It's like the stars aligned and it was meant to be. It is however, going to sound weird...if while outside the dogs get out of hand..and we have to call them...Elvis!! Presley!!! This is going to be great!!!

The All Star NHL game was awesome last night...unfortunately, Staal's team lost to Lidstrom...11-10. It was cool...some players had mics on...so the commentators were able to speak to them AS THE GAME WAS BEING PLAYED!!! I loved this!! Of course, this was a game played more for entertainment than anything else...so no superserious attitudes on the ice last night. It was nice to hear that Patrick Sharp was chosen as MVP of the game with Eric Staal right behind. Then it was the football Pro Bowl. I watched about five minutes of that game...watching Joe's favorites...sorry...I just cannot remember their names right now!! I was tired. lol.

It's bubble wrap appreciation day!!

I thought this story was interesting this morning...thank goodness my kids are brutally honest with me (though they do not think I try to dress younger)...

1/3 OF GIRLS THINKS MOM'S CLOTHES ARE EMBARRASSING:

A third of girls consider their mom's clothing choices to be embarrassing.

One in four believes their mother wears clothes that are too revealing, and more than two thirds claim never to want to dress like them.

Less than a third think their mother dresses appropriately -- with many claiming she shops in the wrong stores or simply tries to copy young fashions
