Happy Labour Day Weekend!

We went to the kickoff to the Bayou Boogie yesterday, it was sooo much fun. We were treated once again to a taste of the music that will fill the air at Grand Portage Lodge and Casino this weekend as well as a bead tossing parade....I was lucky enough to be given the necklace with all the hearts on it!! Love it!! Danny was given a flashing necklace with witches on the beads!
We enjoyed the vibe that's for sure. You can catch a ride to Grand Portage on their Motorcoach for FREE!! Call 577-4601 for reservations.

Kids are going to have a blast too...they've got children's Cajun games, alligator waltz lessons, sing-a-longs with puppets and prizes and of course the children's Mardi Gras Parade...they beging preparing at 5:15 (getting their costumes on!) and the parade goes at 6 Friday, Saturday and Sunday!

The adult Mardi Gras Parade is at 9:30pm all three days as well.

I wish I could fit all the info you'll need...the food, the entertainment...it's jam packed with music and fun, it is after all the North's Biggest Cajun Party!!!!You can always check out grandportage.com for more information.

Have a fabulous weekend!!!
