Are you an aspiring writer? I wish I had time to participate in this....

This weekend the 32nd annual International 3-Day Novel Contest will take place….based in Vancouver…..people register to say they will write a book over the Labor Day weekend…..then at the end they submit what they managed to complete in that three days…. Last year 611 people registered and 482 managed to complete a book and submit it….the contest starts Saturday at midnight and runs to Monday September 7th at 11:59 P.M

We've got the long weekend fast approaching and it looks as if we are in for some great days! Finally, summer makes a bit of an appearance! We'll take it.



WATER COOLER CONVERSATIONS.....


On Monday, the OLG had a shake-up, with the entire board of directors resigning. The government said there were problems with expenses being charged to the OLG. The OLG brings in around $2 billion in annual profit for the government.
