In honor of Shrove Tuesday here are our recipies for Finnish Pancakes
Danny’s

4 eggs
1 cup of milk
1 cup of flour
3 teaspoons of icing sugar
1 teaspoon of salt

Laura’s

Ingredients
•1 cup all-purpose flour
•2 eggs
•1/2 cup milk
•1/2 cup water
•1/4 teaspoon salt
•2 tablespoons butter, melted
Directions

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour and the eggs. Gradually add in the milk and water, stirring to combine. Add the salt and butter; beat until smooth.

WATER COOLER CONVERSATIONS....

Did you know that the cost to develop a new medicine is huge…and it takes about 14 years from start to finish. It costs $300 million…and has a 2% chance of success.

China is making a beer from…fresh cow’s milk. It look like beer, but has all the nutrients and vitamins of milk.

Last week was Invention Week…and a group of inventors, unveiled the “Heineken Bot”. Basically, it’s a Heineken beer mini-keg-on-wheels. It’s programmed to zoom around a party…pouring drinks for people. Check it out online, google: Heineken bot.

Astronauts aboard the International Space Station had a big weekend. They put the last big addition to the space station. A new room with an enormous bay window that promises to provided unprecedented panoramic views of Earth. The rooms name: Tranquility. All part of $400 million in improvements to the space station this week!!!!
