I was looking through photos...missing the heat...and the fun of the Bahamas...there truly is no place like home...but getting pampered the way we did at the Royal Bahamian Spa and Offshore Island...kinda spoils you. I'm adding some pics and video...the video on this blog shows our chef at "Kimonos" Japanese Restaurant...the other chefs there call him "Baby Chef". He was very entertaining!
A story was done in Nassau about the radio broadcasts at Sandals...they chose a picture of our broadcast area to use for the story!! Yaay us!! Check it out by clicking on the link below....

Wow!! Still not caught up on everything since we got back Saturday!!!
Our Resort was so beautiful...there wasn't a single spot that was not gorgeous..lots of backdrops for pictures. That's helpful when there are at least 8 Weddings per day there! Now that they are working with Martha Stewart for their weddings, I'm sure that number will rise!!
There was always plenty of room for everyone, and always somewhere to go and have a seat for some quiet time or just to soak up the sun and the peace.
We toured the city and the Forts..walked around downtown to check out the shops and ended up a the "Straw Market". This is where you can buy all kinds of handmade items, including bags and small toys. There are also wall to wall purses, wallets and sunglasses ! Coach, Prada, Dolce and Gabanna...of course knock offs. There is talk though that some vendors are lucky enough to have real brand name bags that have the slightest stitch flaw...that they can sell. I'm pretty sure the bags I bought...are fakes. I'm okay with that. It was fun to check them out and get some gifts.

A couple of shots of the resort...the pool by our broadcast center at night...it's even more beautiful standing beside it...the statue just feet away from the pool. I've also added a shot one of the entrances here as well as the main entrance with the huge statues!!
Tuesday we head out on a tour of the city...will be taking some shots to share with you!

Happy Monday!
Our first couple of days at the Sandals Royal Bahamian Resort has been so luxurious, fun and of course filling!!!
Danny and I are here with our winner Paddy and his girlfriend Natalie as well as our boss Brad and my hubby Joseph
It's a beautiful resort as you'll see in our pics.
The group of us hopped on bus and headed downtown to check out the shops. Natalie had told us she wanted to find a place called the "Straw Market". A place where you can bargain for your purchases which include bags and wallets by the names of Coach, D&G, Prada as well movies for $5....just not sure about the sale of some movies that have not even left theatre's yet...hmmm...
Back at the resort, we were treated to a fabulous dinner to welcome us here. It was a Surf and Turf meal...yummy!
Today was a major relaxation day for our group. We all went in different directions to relax under the sun by the pool, the Cay Offshore Island and perhaps a little nap.
Tonight we will be treated to the General Managers Cocktail Reception and tomorrow we'll be taking the "City and Country Tour" to experience Nassau.
